Make your garden somewhere you’ll look forward to relaxing and unwinding in, and that you’ll love to share with friends and family. These are a selection of some of my favourite projects.

Contemporary Outdoor Room

-Thame

A contemporary outdoor room with insect-friendly planting for a small garden in Thame. Restricted space means the design needs to work hard, my clients wanted their garden to look lovely from the house and to be usable all year. Creating different zones and level changes transformed the garden making it feel much larger than it is.

This small garden has been created to provide ‘rooms’, with varied seating areas. Paths through the planting provide interest, resulting in a space that feels much larger than it is.

Family-Teenage Terrace

-Botley, Oxfordshire

Entertaining space for grown-ups, with room for 3 teenagers and a hot tub, has been created with this flexible terrace design. It was badly in need of a complete overhaul to become the beautiful space the owners wanted it to be. The planting is low maintenance, relatively deer proof and has a bright colour palette.

Shade Planting Country Garden

- Tackley, Oxfordshire

Shade planting with contrasting structure and form brought this country garden back to life. Wildflower turf is growing in the sunnier areas which is both  beneficial to insects and wildlife and is low maintenance.

Front Garden

-Botley, Oxfordshire

Planting was needed to look good all year and enhance the borders in front of this lovely house.  We planted grasses of several varieties to provide constant movement and texture. The evergreen plants provide structural contrast, and the hot colour palette makes the borders really stand out from the crowd.
